MICHAEL  EBANOIDZE

About Miho

Michael (Miho) Ebanoidze was born in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, where he graduated from the Virsaladze School of Art, and received two highest academic education with a degree in painting and expositional design.

He worked with the construction and development department of the faculty of Architecture at the Georgian Technical University, followed by a placement at the National Georgian Museum of Arts.

As a professional painter for over 30 years, Miho has tried and tested multiple genres and techniques. He is painting frescos in churches, creates stained glass and mosaics, and is engaged in the restoration of icons and paintings.

Teaching academic painting

In addition to his work as painter and designer, Miho is also developing young talent. For the last 27 years he lives and works in Cyprus and has a private studio and gallery MihoArt located in the heart of Limassol. 

Since 1992 he teaches academic sketching, painting, drawing and the basics of design, preparing his students for study at some of the best art schools and universities in Italy, France, Great Britain, Russia and many more.

Many of Michael's students have won prizes at international art contests and fairs. Most importantly, however, they have all kept the joy and satisfaction of working and learning in the kind, friendly atmosphere of the art studio, from an exceptionally talented individual.

Recognition of international artists' community

Since 1989, Miho has been an active member of the creative union "Artists of Tbilisi's Monmantre".

He joined the UNESCO International Association of Art in 1993 as well as the International Federation of Artists (IFA).

Also, Miho has been anointed member of the "Creative Union of Professional Artists" of Russia, member of the association of artists "Limassol Palette", vice-president of "Association of Mediterranean Artists(AMA) and lastly member of E.KA.TE.

Since 1978 Miho is actively exhibiting his works in galleries in Russia, Georgia, Cyprus. He participates yearly in a numerous art exhibitions and festivals in Cyprus and in Europe.
